A self-proclaimed "Grass-Roots Guy", Perrone takes great pride doing the dirty work necessary to build brands and sales in the specialty sports industry. "In this economy, traditional sales guys are dinosaurs. All members of our team understand that great reps are made on the weekend. We all must be willing to put up a 10 x 10 (tent), fly some brand banners and partner with our local retailers to promote their stores in the community. We take great pride in being visible in our communities with our products and we take no sale for granted."
Perrone just recently returned to Austin from Beverly, MA where he served a year as the GM of Karhu North America. In this role he worked with the team at KNA to develop brand strategies and strategic partnerships in the North American Running market.
Prio to creating TGA, Perrone was a 2-time salesman of the year with Mizuno Running (98-04) and was the Director of Running Specialty at Fila (2004-07). He ran collegiately at the University of Texas at San Antonio ... "a long, long time ago."
Shortly after relocating to Charlotte, NC, Jordan Kinley joined The Genesis Agency in 2009. Prior to becoming a territory manager, Jordan gained knowledge of the running industry working at OK Runner in Norman, Oklahoma.
Athletics and endurance sports have always been at the core of Jordan's interests. A runner since age 9, he enjoys training and racing in new products of the brands he represents. Currently, the Karhu Forward Fulcrum Ride and a pair of Balega Hidden Comfort socks provide ultimate comfort and performance.
When it comes to business, Jordan's goal is to probide retailers with outstanding service and ensure TGA's brands' success. With an inherent competitive attitude, he always strives to be the best specialty rep in the territory.
Jordan's favorite part of the job involves working with stores' staff members and meeting individuals at new accounts. On the road he loves to drink gas station coffee and look for new places to run.
Kela Robinson has been with The Genesis Agency since 2007 and brings valuable sales experience to the TGA Team. Based in Nashville, TN, Kela has created a strong reputation for delivering both for the retailer and for the vendor. She has experienced triple-digit growth each year with TGA. As a result of her success, Moving Comfort and Balega were recently added to Kela's line in Kentucky.
"What I like best about working with TGA is the relationships that I have built with my accounts and how proud I am with the way each brand has grown over these last three years and how excited I am to see them grow in the future," stated Robinson, a former NB Tech Rep, who can be found at an event or in a store nearly every day of the week.
"We couldn't find a rep for the territory in the early days of TGA," states TGA Prez Paul Perrone. "I continued to call retailers looking for a rep and they continued to tell me Kela is the only person they could refer to me. She had another job at the time. We were very fortunate that she decided to part ways with that employer."
